{"id":248,"date":"2013-09-17T01:33:33","date_gmt":"2013-09-17T01:33:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/outing-club\/?p=248"},"modified":"2013-09-17T01:36:03","modified_gmt":"2013-09-17T01:36:03","slug":"922-kayaking-trips","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/outing-club\/2013\/09\/17\/922-kayaking-trips\/","title":{"rendered":"9\/22 Kayaking Trips"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kayaking on the Conodoguinet Creek!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date\/time:<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday, September 22. \u00a0Depending on interest we will hold a trip in the morning and a trip in the afternoon. \u00a0The morning trip will be from 9-1 and the afternoon trip will be from 12:30 to 4. \u00a0Please indicate in your comment which trip would be your preference or if both will work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trip capacity:\u00a0<\/strong>There will be one leader on each trip and\u00a0<strong>four<\/strong>\u00a0outing club members. \u00a0We will email you if you are on the trips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong>\u00a0This is a chill kayaking trip down a small river with a rope swing and a cave at the turn around point. \u00a0No kayaking experience is necessary. \u00a0You should bring your lunch if you are going on the morning trip. \u00a0We will provide the kayaks, paddles, PFDs, and dry bags. \u00a0The boats are the same material as white water rafting boats, so you will be sitting in the water when in the boats. \u00a0Please bring a warm polypro top layer and a raincoat. \u00a0All trips depart from Kaufman parking lot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional info:\u00a0<\/strong>If we decide it is too cold, we will lead hiking trips. \u00a0We will email you if we need to make any changes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kayaking on the Conodoguinet Creek!
