The Palliative Care in Western Europe<\/em> website maps the \u201ccomparative performance\u201d of 17 countries in western Europe on variables related to palliative care. A different map is provided for each of the variables listed in the menu at the far right. Data is drawn from a number of sources, including EAPC, WHO, the World Values Survey, and a variety of medical researchers.<\/p>\n

A map reflecting comparative scores for each variable is presented where countries are color-coded from worst<\/span><\/strong> to best<\/span><\/strong>. The Quality of Death<\/em> map at right is an example.[1]<\/p>\n
