Beirut Peacekeepers Memorial Tower by The William R. Gaines Jr. Foundation: Work in Progress.
Located in Port Charlotte, FL, the Memorial is both a structure and educational space dedicated to the memories of the 241 American service members who lost their lives in the October 23, 1983, bombing of the U.S Marines Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.
With James G. Breckenridge, PhD, Beirut veteran and former Provost of the U.S Army War College, I serve as educational advisor to the Beirut Peacekeepers Memorial Tower. I provide the intellectual framework and historical narrative that will be displayed on panels inside the tower. I translate complex historical concepts into accessible, credible, and engaging narratives, ones that are designed to a wide audience.

With Col. Timothy J. Geraghty at Camp Lejeune, 2023. Geraghty was the Commander of the 24th Amphibious Unit in Beirut in 1983.

With U.S Beirut Veteran: Mike Stringent, 2024.
The Forgotten Peacekeepers by Robert Mac: Work in Progress.
I serve as educational advisor to the documentaryThe Forgotten Peacekeepers, which is on the Beirut barracks bombing of 1983. I provide historical background of the Lebanese civil war of 1975, the deployment of the Multi-National Peacekeeping Force in 1982 – which was composed of American, French, Italian, and British military service members – and the two terrorist attacks of October 23, 1983, that targeted American and French service members.
In addition to being interviewed, I supported the filming of an episode in France where I set up meetings with French Beirut veterans, helped interview them, and facilitated communication between French veterans and English-speaking film crew members.

With French Beirut Veteran: Robert Guillemette during the documentary filming in France, 2025.
