During the spring 2012 semester, seven Advanced Russian students kept a blog in which they posted weekly assignments: film reviews, stories about their weekends, commentary on current events, and creative writing assignments.
But who was reading?
By the end of the semester, the blog had been viewed over 1,500 times by readers from the US (including Alaska), Russia, Jordan, Ukraine, Moldova, Germany, Latvia, Serbia, and Belarus.
Next fall, most of the students will study abroad on the Dickinson-in-Moscow program for either the semester or the academic year.
