On December 5, during the final week of classes, about 30 students studying Russian came together for a brief break from studying to participate in the annual Russian Department Talent Show. Students of all levels, from first semester to seniors, performed traditional folk songs and dances, recited poems by heart, sang Russian and Soviet songs they had been learning in class, and played classical pieces on the violin and cello.
