On November 7, 2016, on the 99th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, Russian students carried out the annual tradition of reenacting the event on the steps of Bosler Hall. They read historical speeches in English and Russian, and then discussed the significance and legacy of the event over Russian snacks and tea. The anniversary of the revolution happened to take place at an important moment in American politics: the day before the 2016 presidential elections.
