Every Tuesday the Russian Department holds Russian Table: a weekly gathering where students, faculty, and community members converse in Russian over a meal. On January 31, 2017 the Russian Department welcomed Ivan Babanov to Russian Table. Ivan lives and works in Moscow and for several semesters he has assisted the Dickinson-in-Moscow program. Specifically, he accompanies students on cultural excursions, takes them to sporting events, and – in general – introduces them to student life in Moscow. During his recent visit to campus, Ivan was able to reunite with old friends and meet some new Dickinson students. Here we see Ivan (center) with some of the students who will be traveling to Moscow during the 2017-2018 academic year.
