Iza Savenkova joins the Dickinson College Department of Russian as Visiting International Instructor for the 2018-2019 academic year. Iza grew up in the southern Russian city of Volgograd but now lives in Moscow, where she is professor in the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at the Russian State University for the Humanities. At Dickinson, she teaches courses in Russian language and phonetics. While in Moscow, she has taught several groups of Dickinsonians who were studying abroad on the Dickinson-in-Moscow program.
