Iza Savenkova, Visiting International Scholar in Russian for the 2019-2020 academic year, is the new host of the TeachRussian.org podcast. She has been teaching Russian for 7 years in both Russia and the U.S. and holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language. Before coming to Dickinson College in 2018, she taught courses in Russian language, literature, and culture in Moscow and assisted the Dickinson-in-Moscow program at the Russian State University for the Humanities.
In her first podcast, she interviews Dr. William Comer, Professor of Russian and Director of the Russian Flagship Program at Portland State University.
