The topic of the conversation was \u201ccontemporary television.\u201d Students talked in Russian about what they are currently watching, viewing practices in Russia and the US, and how the structure of television series differs from traditional film form. RSUH is Dickinson\u2019s partner institution in Moscow, which means that many of the students who participate in these monthly Skype sessions will later meet Dickinson students when they study abroad in Moscow for the summer, semester, or year.
