Brighton Beach is located in Brooklyn, New York City, and is home to the largest Russian-speaking population in the United States. Despite the rain, students perused Russian bookstores, bakeries, and shops; they also practiced their language skills during a scavenger hunt, where they had to locate a list of items in various stores using only Russian.
