Aunque este evento occuri\u00f3 en el Caribe, los habitantes de\u00a0 los estados del suroeste lo sintieron igual.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Este terremoto occuri\u00f3\u00a0 a las 14:10, cerca de la costa de Jamaica. Este fue el terremoto m\u00e1s grande registrado en la historia del Caribe y fue causado por un terremoto de dos <\/span><b>placas tect\u00f3nicas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: el Caribe y el Norteamericano. Este terremoto masivo ocurri\u00f3 porque la placa tect\u00f3nica Norteamericano se est\u00e1 hundiendo en la placa tect\u00f3nica del Caribe. Afortunadamente, la noticia no ha reportado muertos ni heridos. <\/span><b>Las redes sociales<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> son muy importantes durante una crisis porque ayudan a difundir conocimientos\u00a0 entre las personas. Por ejemplo, los habitantes de las Islas Caim\u00e1n usaron Instagram para informar la comunidad y el mundo los efectos del terremoto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Este art\u00edculo tambi\u00e9n integra negocios y el medio ambiente. Los terremotos generan un impacto en la comunidad, la econom\u00eda y el medio ambiente. Estos componentes han sido partes vitales de nuestras discusiones en clase. Cuando ocurren eventos traum\u00e1ticos, es necesario tener\u00a0 una respuesta financiera y econ\u00f3mica. Los edificios est\u00e1n da\u00f1ados y los miembros de la comunidad necesitan <\/span><b>recursos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, comida y agua.
