On Wednesday February 11th, Dickinson College Spanish Club hosted a game night during the weekly Spanish table, a venue where students come to converse in Spanish while eating dinner. The students and faculty that attended played la loteria, a game almost identical to bingo. Prizes were awarded for the first person to fill in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line, the border of the card, or a letter (for example, A or Z). The biggest prize went to whoever filled the entire card first. La loteria was a fun way to learn Spanish while dining with friends!
