Students in Professor DeLutis-Eichenberger’s Spanish 231 class, “Reading the Southern Cone: Lessons in Sustainability,” celebrated the end of the course at Dickinson’s Farm this week. Lounging on red Dickinson chairs in the sun on Monday, and warming-up near a bonfire on Thursday, students in two sections presented their plans for their final research papers on issues in sustainability as applied to literary works. Dinner was served outside of the barn and in one of the college yurts – salad was served that the classes helped to plant!
