Alana Richards was presented with the 2020 Fox Martinez-Vidal Citizenship Award during the Department of Spanish and Portuguese’s remotely held Spanish Majors Celebration on May 15, 2020. The Award is granted by the Department to a graduating senior who has majored in Spanish. The award recognizes committed leadership in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese through active participation in Department events, activities, and initiatives. In order to be eligible, the student will have to be a member of Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honor Society.
