The 30th anniversary of Dickinson’s study-abroad program in Málaga, Spain was one of many celebrated at a recent gathering of alumni in Washington, D.C.
Professor Mark Aldrich helped to organize a Málaga reunion picnic at a local park during the two-day celebration. A large group of Málaga alumni gathered with their families to reminisce and enjoy some of Aldrich’s famous homemade paella.
Manolo Jiménez also journeyed from Spain to join the celebration and re-connect with students and faculty. Jiménez has helped facilitate and guide many great excursions for Dickinson students during their time abroad and helped end the day’s festivities with some classic guitar melodies.
