Although Kiara ’21 (international business & management<\/a>,\u00a0Chinese<\/a>) and Kiana Smith ’21 (international studies<\/a>,\u00a0Spanish<\/a>) are twins, they didn\u2019t go to the same high school. But they knew they wanted to attend the same college. And as it turns out, they made perfect roommates.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we complement each other very well,\u201d says Kiana, noting that there are \u201ca lot\u201d of twins at Dickinson. \u201cWe\u2019re similar but opposites at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n Now that their time at Dickinson has come to an end, it\u2019s not just the twins marveling at their experiences over the last four years.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seems like just yesterday that we brought them here and dropped them off,\u201d says their dad, Leon. \u201cThey were girls, but now they\u2019re leaving as really dynamic, strong, young African American women.\u201d<\/p>\n
