D\u00cdA DEL LIBRO: <\/strong>CERVANTES’S DON QUIXOTE NONSTOP: APRIL 23<\/p>\n

PLEASE JOIN US AND READ FOR A FEW MINUTES!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1995, UNESCO designated April 23 as World Book Day to honor books and authors and to encourage everyone to read.\u00a0 This date is significant to many important world authors; it is also the date that Miguel de Cervantes died.\u00a0 In many Spanish-speaking countries, readers participate in a two-day “readathon,” an event that features a continuous reading of Cervante’s masterpiece Don Quixote<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On April 23, students and faculty will read aloud from Don Quixote<\/em> continuously from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.\u00a0 In addition to Spanish, excerpts will be read in several other languages.\u00a0 ALL ARE WELCOME!<\/strong><\/p>\n
