Spanish Business 2016

My name is Peter Brooks and I am a sophomore majoring in International Business and Management and I’m from Fairfield, Connecticut. I’m interested in taking this class because I want to be exposed to a new type of Spanish speaking and also to keep up with the language because I’m planning on going abroad in the Fall to Malaga. Looking forward to learning about negocios!

Hola! My name is Dani Schwab and I am a sophomore INBM major. I’m from outside of Baltimore, Maryland. I am looking forward to taking this class and learning useful vocabulary which will hopefully help me further my future career. I am also thinking about studying abroad in Malaga so I want to continue studying Spanish.

My name is Katie Montgomery and I am a sophomore International Business major. I’m from Vienna, VA right outside of DC and I run cross country and track for Dickinson. I am interested in this class because I want to better my Spanish so I can use it in my future career. Also, I plan to study abroad next year in Argentina and want to continue to keep my Spanish sharp.

My name is Jackson Claudio and I am a Junior. I studied abroad in Málaga last semester and hope that this class can help go over all that I have learned abroad and for my major in INBM. I am on the tennis team at Dickinson and am looking forward to this semester and meeting everyone!

Hi! My name is Ketty and I am a senior at Dickinson. I am a business major and hoping that I will learn useful vocabulary and commonly used phrases that I can apply to my career. Upon graduation, I will be working for a global consulting firm and am hopeful that in my travels I can refer back to this class.

My name is Maddie Cerny and I’m a senior Psychology major. Since I haven’t been using my Spanish as much studying abroad in South America, I felt this class could help me brush up on some things as well as benefit me career wise. I hope to find a job in consulting which will likely involve traveling and conversing with Spanish-speaking individuals.

My name is Mason and I am a junior Environmental Science major. I currently live in Lancaster, PA.  I hope to one day work with environmental policy and treaties in South America. I want to take this class to further my knowledge of the language and use Spanish in an effective manner within every possible setting.

Hi, my name’s Hannah Trusty and I’m a Junior majoring in Economics and minoring in Spanish! I was abroad in Malaga last semester and took a similar class to this one, and really enjoyed it.  I would like to further improve my Spanish and use in it a way that benefits me as a business related major.

My name is Bryton and I am a senior majoring in International Business & Management with a minor in Economics. I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I am taking this class because I am interested in being able to speak Spanish and to understand it in a more professional setting. I don’t know if the career I am interested will require me to have that knowledge but it certainly won’t hurt so I think this will be a great and challenging experience.
