Here, she tells us about her experience:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first reaction in the new school was to go to the dance studio, warm up, stretch \u2013 I left, I didn\u2019t talk to anyone, I already knew what to do, I got right back into my old habits, without the stress of the professional dance world.\u201d In the beginning, she barely notices her classes were in French because she was on auto-pilot thanks tot he \u201cinternational language\u201d of dance. She adds: \u201cThe arts, ballet, jazz dance, African dance all allow you to communicate internationally.\u201d In spite of her habits and her initial independence, this non-verbal language allowed her to come acrodd people with lots of different backgrounds, with interests in common with her. Now she\u2019s part of a community: \u201cI often go to open studio, coffee and music events organized by the center.
