I really liked our visit to Conques. It was an opportunity to see a part of France- the countryside and a medieval village- that I had never seen. It was awesome! I especially liked the view in this photo.\u00a0 I had never hiked back home, and even if I had, I would never have seen a medieval village. Also, Conques is so isolated that I could see the Milky Way- our galaxy- at night! It wasn&#8217;t completely visible because of the streetlights, but I had never seen it before that night!
