Devon Anderson grew up in Woodstock, New York where the colorful culture as well as the social issues\u00a0<\/span><\/span>present\u00a0<\/span><\/span>have influenced her sculptural work. Since 2019, she has focused on three dimensional pieces that describe the unfamiliarity of mental illness. By using mixed media, she hopes to convey the depth of emotion while emphasizing\u00a0<\/span><\/span>uncomfortability<\/span><\/span>\u00a0within her viewers.\u202f<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
