В 5 часов утра был разбужен вестовым из полка. Оказывается, что полк выступает в 8 часов утра. Поручик Голиков выслал за мной экипаж. Все офицеры полка выехали из Варшавы в полк. Мы выступили на северо-запад, и к 5 часам вечера пришли к месту впадения реки Бзуры в Вислу. Встали на ночлег, и 1-ая бригада села в окопы.

At 5 in the morning I was woken up by a messenger from the regiment. As it turns out, the regiment will move out at 8 in the morning. Lieutenant Golikov sent a vehicle to fetch me. All the officers from our regiment left Warsaw and returned back to the regiment. We conducted a movement to the northwest, and by 5 in the morning we reached the confluence of the Bzura and Vistula rivers. We set up our sleeping space for the night. The 1st Brigade remained in the trenches.
