It is possible to buy everything, though there is little meat. But now there is no meat even among the troops. It is regrettable. Our mother Rus is abundant, but soldiers are each given a quarter funt <a href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> of meat barely once a week. It is said that there may be uprisings within Russia. Now I understand why they want to form Cossack divisions and why weapons were taken away from the people. If only we would advance more quickly. If we could just take down the Germans, then we could move forward.
