Evidently the Siberians want so much to receive me into their ranks that they themselves were asking about me, because a note arrived from Colonel Khondzynsky in which he conveyed that he is against my leaving the regiment. That means it will not be my fate. Now a weight has been lifted off my soul\u2014I am wanted in two places. We are doing exercises: tactics, shooting, infantry rules, gas warfare.
