My orders were to find out the number of persons sympathetic to the All-Russian Military Union of the Army and Navy. I offered a proposal. But then the young began to shout, \u201cOh, it&#8217;s the old regime again!\u201d It got to the point where they shouted, \u201cWhy do we always have drills and orders in the 11th Squadron while the others always have free time?\u201d To this I stated that I had no desire to command such men and could turn in the squadron at any time as a member of the Special Commission, but in the meantime, drills would be held tomorrow for those who wished to learn how to beat the enemy.
