Once again I had to go to the field post office, this time in a carriage.<\/p>\n<p>Today our division received the order that on December 25 we would head in the direction of Warsaw, arriving on December 27. We will stay 15 versts to the west of Warsaw and will be relocated from the 5th Army to the 9th. We were in the 5th Army for no more than a month, in the 2nd Army for just over 2 months, and before that we were in the 9th.<\/p>\n<p>I made some repairs and got my saddle pack and weapon into order. My pistol is shining and my sabre is sharp. I have everything I need to go without my pack. There was a time when we wouldn&#8217;t see our packs for two weeks or more.
