We don\u2019t even have newspapers. You know only about your small patch of land, and nothing about what is going on in the rest of the world. An order for the 5th Cavalry Division No. 14 from January 3, 1915 announced that I have been awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 4th class, with the inscription \u201cFor Bravery.\u201d At last I\u2019ve received an award, since I used to feel uncomfortable when I was asked, \u201cWhat award do you have?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At 5pm my hussar returned and brought letters with him. One from my mother from October 24th and two from my wife \u2013 from November 9th and 29th.\u00a0 Outrage!
