They say that from the blimp there is an excellent view of the German front. I want to try and fly in it. I took a book from the 6th Company entitled <em>Earth<\/em>, the 15th volume of the collection. I read in it Artsybashev&#8217;s new play, <em>War<\/em>. They say it has been banned. And rightly so, since it is painfully dark. In England, women don&#8217;t wear mourning clothes, so as not to cast a cloud over the enthusiasm in support of the war. Yet Mr. Artsybashev writes as if he wants to kill all the energy and desire to fight.<\/p>\n<p>Today I went to Czerwi\u0144sk. It is impossible to cross over to the left bank, and my reports will not arrive at their destination. Although, nothing of particular note is happening: the Germans are advancing toward P\u0142ock, but they are being kept out. It&#8217;s a shame that the Khmelevsky battery was relocated and ordered to be sent to Colonel Kuznetsov.
