It&#8217;s electronic and synthy, but remains grounded in perfectly danceable pop.\u00a0 Torches can seem a little gimicky and cheesy at times, perhaps even unmemorable, but the tracks &#8220;Pumped Up K<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-997\" title=\"Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork.jpg 585w, https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork-36x36.jpg 36w, https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/wdcvfm\/files\/2011\/08\/Foster-The-People-Torches-album-artwork-115x115.jpg 115w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px\" \/><\/a>icks&#8221;\u00a0 and\u00a0 &#8220;Don&#8217;t Stop&#8221; are pretty good.\u00a0 But the album does drag a bit, it gets repetitive, and you feel as if you&#8217;ve heard it all before, which may not be a completely a bad thing, But it gets strong again on the track &#8220;Miss You&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tessa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Foster the People Torches \u2605\u2605\u2605\/5 &nbsp; This is the first full album from Foster the People.
