Lindner Park officially became a park on October 17, 1910 with the unveiling of a donated war cannon. It was created by John Lindner, the head of the successful “Lindner Shoe Company” in Carlisle. Originally designed to be a recreational park, Lindner park today is a popular 2-acre leisure location for the neighboring people of residential Carlisle. It is located at E Park St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
