1942 and 1946 – Dates on which Shaffer received 2 tracts of land and their respective deeds

1964 – Date of Shaffer’s death

1964 – Farmers Trust Company becomes Executor of Schaffer’s will

1968 – First survey conducted of Shaffer park

1970 – Original plans for park rennovation

1981 – Rennovation of Shaffer Cabin

1998 – 12 acres of Shaffer park sold to generate enough funds to purchase Seven Gables

2004 – Friends Automotive Group buys a portion of Shaffer park along Spring Road

2011 – Dog Park is established

2015 – Pennsylvania Turnpike commission purchases part of Schaffer land for right-of-way, put up noise barriers
