Swag: Do you want a DCOC shirt or vest?

Outing Club is ordering clothes with our new logo on them! We are very excited and want as many people as possible to have the team garb!

We are offering two options:
Red fleece vest with the embroidered logo ($40)

Olive green long sleeve organic shirt with “Dickinson College Outing Club” written on the front (breast pocket location) and the logo on the back ($15)

If you would like to order a shirt and/or vest, please post your name, what you want to order, and size.

All orders are due by MARCH 1 by midnight.

2/8 Saturday Hike in  Pine Grove
**If you are interested in being a co-trip leader for this trip please email the outing club account at outingclub@dickinson.edu ASAP**

Saturday at 11:00 am, meet at Kaufman. We’ll be hiking down in Pine Grove Depending on which trail we take, we should be back around 3-5.

Please bring/wear warm clothes, good boots and waterproof jackets! Packed lunches are not required, but highly recommended. Email the outing club account with questions: outingclub@dickinson.edu

11/8 Climbing Competition at York College

Get your climb on with college students from all over the state at York College’s Climbing Competition!

All abilities are welcome to come!

This trip will be lead by Justin McCarty and Kelly Thompson.

11/2 Final meeting of the semester/PARTY

Our last meeting of the semester is always a party with food, reflection of the semester, good friends, and surprises.

We will also be voting on officers and a logo.

It is going to be a blast and a great study break, so please come by- TOME 115, 8:15.

11/23 Saturday Morning Hike (****DUE TO VAN AVAILABILITY THIS TRIP HAS BEEN MOVED TO SUNDAY! ALL OTHER INFO STAYS THE SAME)

This hike will be lead by Karl (with a K) Smith and will be capped at 6 people.

Meet at the Kaufman parking lot at 9am, return in the early afternoon.

On Sunday, November 24, the outing club will host CRUSHFEST 2013 at the Kline Climbing Wall from 10-2.  You do not need to register, just show up ready to climb.  All skill levels and walks of life are welcome.  We will provide lunch…if you did not sign up at the meeting with your meal points, you can post below (banner ID number and meal plan type) OR you can email the account at outingclub@dickinson.edu.

11/21 Leave No Trace Class

Learn about how to spend time in the outdoors while putting as little stress on the environment around you as possible!

This class will take place from 4:30-6:30 on campus and will be taught by our very own LNT master educator, Jack Marcus.

11/10 Rock Climbing Trip **Due to logistical issues with out top-roping guide, we will be unable to offer this trip as top-roping.  We will still be going bouldering and it is going to be awesome!
