quam magnus numerus Libyssae harenae
lasarpiciferis iacet Cyrenis
oraclum Iovis inter aestuosi

aut quam sidera multa, cum tacet nox,
furtivos hominum vident amores:
tam te basia multa basiare
vesano satis et super Catullo est,
quae nec pernumerare curiosi

You do an excellent job both explaining the imagery and putting the poem in the context of the strange customs that underly it. Nice job pausing at the appropriate times in the Latin reading as well. That really helps make it comprehensible.
