History 118, “US History Since 1877,” with Professor Matthew Pinsker, meets at Dickinson College during spring semester 2023 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am in Denny 211. Course texts include H.W. Brands’ American Dreams as well as a variety of other essays and digital resources, including several created by Dickinson staff and students. Participants in this course will write various essays and will undertake a multi-media oral history project that attempts to illuminate a major episode or trend in U.S. history since 1945.
