History 288, “Civil War & Reconstruction,” with Professor Matthew Pinsker, meets at Dickinson College during spring semester 2024 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3pm in Denny 112. Course texts include Elizabeth Varon’s Armies of Deliverance (2019) as well as numerous articles and essays by noted historians and also web resources created by the House Divided Project at Dickinson College. Students in the course will build their own website exhibit explaining the significance of a historical figure from the Civil War era.
