History 311, “Cold War America” with Professor Matthew Pinsker meets at Dickinson College during spring semester 2024 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1030am in Denny 211. Course texts include John Gaddis, Strategies of Containment (2005 ed) as well as a variety of other essays and digital resources. Participants in this course will write various essays and will undertake a final website project that examines an important or representative figure from the period 1945 to 1991.
