Just in case any of you are thinking of using this blog as a source I thought I would supply you with its proper Chicago citation.

So to footnote an individual post on this blog it would look like this:

Matthew Guariglia, “Blog post title,” Visions of Red (blog), Date of posting, Url. 

So for example: Matthew Guariglia, “What was the Smith Act,” Visions of Red (blogs), May 7, 2012, http://blogs.dickinson.edu/hist-fbi/2012/05/07/what-was-the-smith-act/.

For a bibliography citation it would look the same except the citation would follow the Last Name, First name organization and there would be no blog post title.

So for bibliographies: Guariglia, Matthew. Visions of Red (blog).http://blogs.dickinson.edu/hist-fbi/
