This video essay shows how the teen film movie “Cosmonauta” does not conform to certain typical conventions and qualities that normally make it a teen film, specifically American teen films like “Grease.” The main quality that will be discussed in the “make-over” that typically occurs in teen films and most noticeably in “Grease” with the female protagonist, Sandy.
