Welcome to our Japanese Summer Program Dickinson Blog. I am Alex Bates, the instructor of the program. I teach Japanese language, literature, and film at Dickinson. You can see my faculty profile here. I live in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with my wife, Amy, an illustrator, three kids and a dog named Mochi. I enjoy the outdoors, movies, books, and games.
