On Saturday DCOC will go out towards western PA to Cross Country Ski.

We have at least 3 spots open for this trip and we may be able to take more depending on interest and vans. Tucker and Wes will be leading this crew

We will leave Kaufman parking lot at 9am promptly and return around dinner time.

The cost for the trip should be minimal; we got senate funding to pay for gear rental and vans.

Please bring a lunch for this trip.

2/8 Saturday Hike in  Pine Grove

Saturday at 11:00 am, meet at Kaufman. We’ll be hiking down in Pine Grove Depending on which trail we take, we should be back around 3-5.

Please bring/wear warm clothes, good boots and waterproof jackets! Packed lunches are not required, but highly recommended. Email the outing club account with questions: outingclub@dickinson.edu

Saturday Hike in  Pine Grove

Saturday at 11:00 am, meet at Kaufman. We’ll be hiking down in Pine Grove, at either Pole Steeple or Buck Ridge (depending on our mood and the weather). Depending on which trail we take, we should be back around 3-5.

Forecast as of Monday is for highs around 40, and possible rain/snow – warm clothes, good boots and waterproof jackets are a must! Packed lunches are not required, but highly recommended. Let Karl know (smithkar@dickinson.edu) if you have any questions about gear or the itinerary.

11/2 Final meeting of the semester/PARTY

Our last meeting of the semester is always a party with food, reflection of the semester, good friends, and surprises.

We will also be voting on officers and a logo.

It is going to be a blast and a great study break, so please come by- TOME 115, 8:15.

On Sunday, November 24, the outing club will host CRUSHFEST 2013 at the Kline Climbing Wall from 10-2.  You do not need to register, just show up ready to climb.  All skill levels and walks of life are welcome.  We will provide lunch…if you did not sign up at the meeting with your meal points, you can post below (banner ID number and meal plan type) OR you can email the account at outingclub@dickinson.edu.
