Moscow-born poet, Vera Pavlova, reads her highly personal poetry at Dickinson

Vera Pavlova first visited Carlisle as a speaker for the Sirena International Poetry Festival in the fall of 2004.

 Pavlova returned to Dickinson College in 2005, 2007, and most recently in 2008 at the seventh-annual Semana Poética International Festival. Watch the episode from the 2008 closing readings:

During the Semana Poética VII, a crowd of poetry fans gathered in Rubendall Recital Hall to listen to the contemporary Russian poet recite her dense and highly personal poetry.
