On March 21, 2018, Prof. Dominic Rubin (Higher School of Economics, Moscow) delivered a lecture to students and faculty based on his 2018 book, Russia’s Muslim Heartlands: Islam in the Putin Era. Prof. Rubin is a regular contributor to the Dickinson-in-Moscow abroad program, and his research on religious identity in post-Soviet space has been featured by the BBC.
