In December 2019, at the end of fall semester, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and St. Petersburg State University held an Online Language Competition in Russian as a Foreign Language. It was a great opportunity for all international students who study Russian back at their home schools to demonstrate, remotely, their knowledge and competencies in Russian and receive an objective assessment of their hard work. 7199 international students from 131 countries participated in the competition, and only 500 were awarded with a prize and special certificate, certifying their level of proficiency in Russian as a Foreign Language in accordance with the Common European Language Competences (CEFR).
We are proud to announce that Grace Ingle’20, Arabic and Russian major, is among the winners of the Online Language Competition in Russian as a Foreign Language for 2019.
