Сегодня курсы закрылись. Приезжал генерал Драгомиров и говорил на тему дня. 3-ий стрелковый Кавказский полк постановил 30 человек, сдавшихся в плен, заклеймить, объявив их имена в газетах. В случае же их возвращения в Россию, предать их смертной казни.

Courses ended today. General Dragomirov came and spoke on the subject of the day. The 3rd Rifle Regiment of the Caucasus decreed that 30 men who surrendered and taken prisoner will be punished and announced their names in the newspapers. If they were returned to Russia, they would to be sentenced to death.

Штаб-ротмистр Рава-1 уже зачислен в летчики-наблюдатели. Сегодня я видел полковника Скуратова, приехавшего с общеармейского съезда. Он настроен оптимистически и еще верит в хороший конец войны. Я же ничему не верю.

На призывы англичан записаться недовольными порядками офицерам в их Армию только в Петрограде записалось 11 тысяч офицеров, но их, конечно, не пустили.

Денщик штаб-ротмистра Равы приехал из стрелкового полка и говорит, что стрелки взбунтовались, хотели убить полковника Хондзынского, штаб-ротмистра Киленина и князя Кропоткина, но те бежали. А мой денщик татарин сказал: “Плохо теперь в войсках, Ваше Благородие”.

I was sent to a rally held by members of the State Duma in the presence of General Dragomirov.
