As a local sorority, we deeply value community service and strive to give back to the Carlisle community. Each year we host a variety of philanthropy events to spread awareness and raise money for our local philanthropy Safe Harbour, a long-term shelter which provides housing and self-enhancement programs for homeless and potentially homeless single adults and families. Our largest event is called “The Best of Dickinson” which donates more than $4,000 each year to Safe Harbour. In addition to our events for Safe Harbour, we participate in a variety of other service projects such as Relay for Life, Project SHARE, Kappa Sigma’s Parkinson’s Walk and the winter carnival at Mooreland Elementary School.
