I’m from Philadelphia and have lived there my entire life. Food has been an interest of mine since I was a child because of the fortunate experiences I’ve had with unique foods. Every Sunday my mom, sister, and I would make some type of morning treat. Either banana bread, pancakes, brownies, cookies, etc. Being in the kitchen contributing as a young kid brought me into the realm of cooking and baking. Now that I’m at the age where I can / have to cook for myself, I have really enjoyed trying new recipes and exploring the world of cooking. I took a chemistry course in high school and was fascinated by the topics that we were working on and the labs that we were doing, so when I saw this course available at Dickinson I jumped at the opportunity to attend.
