Matthew Pinsker, director of the House Divided Project at Dickinson College, curated the exhibit “Lincoln’s Gettysburg Addresses,” at the invitation of the Google Cultural Institute in November 2013 to help commemorate the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. The exhibit explains that the text we study was not actually the text Lincoln delivered at Gettysburg, and also speculates as to the origins of some of the phrasing. The exhibit also features work by a number of Dickinson students and also a very determined class of first-graders from Clemson, SC.
