Latin Club will return on Monday October 29. Sessions are from 4:30-5:30 PM in Bosler Hall. Please note the building change for this academic year.
For the Fall semester, we will meet on the following dates: 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3. Stay tuned for our Spring semester dates.
While Chris Francese is on Sabbatical, Laura Takakjy (Visiting Assistant Professor in Classical Studies) will be in charge. Ann Heermans-Booth (Adjunct Faculty in Classical Studies) and Laura Takakjy will supervise each session of Latin Club. Two Dickinson Latin students will lead each section of children, who will be divided based on grade-level on the first day.
This year we will meet in Bosler Hall on Dickinson College’s Campus on the third floor. Bosler Hall is at the corner of High Street and N. College Street. There is plenty of parking available at that time on High Street, N. College Street, and West Louther Street.
The club is free, and is supported by the Dickinson Classics department, through the Roberts Fund for Classical Studies. This fund will be used to purchase materials for crafts and so forth.
