Established in 1965, the Bologna program is Dickinson’s oldest of its 13 study abroad programs. As Resident Director, I cultivate long-standing relationships with program alumni, engaging them during visits to Bologna and through a newsletter reaching over 1,300 alumni. I also contribute to the College’s fundraising efforts by maintaining personal connections and acknowledging gifts that sustain Bologna scholarships, viewing alumni engagement as central to the collective program’s identity and its lasting impact current and future cohorts of students.
In my capacity as Director of the Bologna program for Dickinson College I am involved in collaborations with campus partners and stakeholders to plan and design initiatives, events, and communication strategies that support alumni engagement and program goals. This includes coordinating timelines, aligning institutional priorities, and contributing to the development of activities that strengthen relationships between alumni, donors, and the College.
Below are links to online resources that document my engagement with Bologna program alumni and my efforts to maintain ongoing communication with former students in collaboration with the College.
